Shanghai Gate (8 meters tall x 5.5 meters wide)
Shanghai Tower (632 meters tall) Second tallest building in the world 2020
J Hotel Shanghai Tower, China. The world's highest luxury hotel.Completed in November 2020. Level One Entry Lobby. Shanghai Gate & Glass Colonnade. This is a free standing architectural glass artwork. It is 8.0 m tall x 5.5 m wide x 0.8 m deep. This is the entry gate to the lift cores that service the J Hotel on the 101st to 130th floors
The Glass Colonnade at Entry Level One.The Colonnade stands at 8 meters tall including the glass lintel.
J Hotel, Shanghai Tower.
Follow the Colonnade as it leads to the Shanghai Gate. The Gate was built with crystal and dichroic glass bricks with special techniques developed by Stephen Gormley.
Crystal Glass Reception Desks.
The desks were hand-cut and polished out of crystal glass slabs.
